Tony Soprano makes an offer -- his wardrobe
boss Tony Soprano may have been unclear when HBO's mafia drama
"The Sopranos" ended last year, but his wardrobe is headed for
a certain ending: it's being auctioned for charity.
James Gandolfini, who played Soprano for six seasons over
8-1/2 years, is selling his personal costume wardrobe in a
Christie's pop culture auction in New York on June 25, with all
proceeds going to a charity that helps wounded U.S. troops.
The 24 lots include a bloody outfit worn when Soprano was
shot at the beginning of season six by Uncle Junior in a fit of
dementia, which is estimated to fetch up to $3,000, and his
signature white tank top, light blue striped boxer shorts,
striped short robe and leather scuffs that could make $1,500.
Also up for grabs are a selection of costumes worn by other
"Sopranos" characters, including Junior Soprano, Paulie Walnuts
and A.J. Soprano.
The award-winning HBO series broke new ground for
television: portraying a conflicted man who tries to balance
family life with his Mafia career.

Ballards Sister Wants To Dig Up Soul Stars Body
The sister of tragic SUPREMES star FLORENCE BALLARD wants to dig up the singer's body and prove she was murdered.
The soul star died more than 30 years ago, but her sister Maxine has never accepted coronary artery thrombosis was the true cause of death.
Maxine, 65, believes Florence was murdered because she knew too much about some of the music industry's biggest players.
She tells America's the Globe, "She didn't have a history of heart disease.
"There was this brown cereal-type substance (in her system) that was never identified.
"I believe she was killed because someone wanted to silence her... Florence had big plans for the future. I believe she was killed."
The Globe has unearthed a lost interview the late soul star gave to the Detroit Free Press just before her death, when she admitted she feared for her life after suing Motown founder Berry Gordy for what she claimed was missing millions in royalty money.
She revealed, "I began to get scared. I don't know why, I just had a fear."
Maxine reveals her sister was plotting an expose all about Motown when she died.
